In class today, students took their 2nd SAT Style CFA…Tomorrow, we will present our CCR team work…

In teams, work on the four close and critical reading questions (provided in class) and create a google slide presentation that showcases your summary (slide 1), rhetorical strategies (slide 2), Theme (Slide 3), and Connections (slide 4)…Make sure slide 2, 3, 4, provide evidence and explanations. Use the Close and Critical Reading Rubric to guide your work….Presentations Due: 10/28/2019

Before class tomorrow, use the narrative structure notes you took in class today to chart the short story ….

Different classes are in different places due to the half day on Friday, but most students have already taken the quiz on the last article of the week (#4). We check WE#2 and RE#3 as well in 4th hour. Students then had time to check their answers on quiz #3 (“The Elements of Success”) and make notes….Tomorrow, they will read a new article closely and critically.
