Week of April 20 – ASAP ELA 1/2 and Fordson Learning Plan #1

Hello everyone! I hope this finds us at home and safe.

We will start a plan this week that will continue the same (with a few changes in type of assignment and topics) for the remainder of the school year.

You will need to check Google classroom for specifics. I will give out your assignments for the week by Monday at 11. You will then have until Sunday at midnight to finish them. Please make sure that you are giving everything your best effort so that you receive the best credit you can for the course.

I understand that we all have different struggles at home and how difficult it is to try and figure things out on your own so that’s why I ask you to go for best effort and completion.

The assignments
1. Bellwork activities
2. Readworks articles
3 – Earth Day Activities (Earth Day is this week so you have something specifically to do with this event. This area is a topic that will change.)
4. SSR Log
5. Practical skills (You have done excuse notes before. Now we will move into job skills such as filling out an application and writing a cover letter.)

And there it is! You know me and my class…do NOT let this overwhelm you. I know that many of you have turned in work, and I am finishing that and putting it in Student Connect. You will have grades/credit for all completed work.

Office hours are Monday and Friday from 11-2:00. Those are the best (but not only) times to contact me with questions and concerns.

Just make sure to put forth a best effort and check my blog and Google classroom.
