While I’m not a vegetarian, we are pretending to hide the turkeys before Thanksgiving! The students got to show off their family projects today. Here are some pictures!



Yes, I got your children to make and set the table!! They needed to build a table using sticks and dominoes. The table had to be big enough to fit a turkey, mashed potatoes, a pumpkin, pie, and silverware.

Again, I’m not a vegetarian and I will enjoy turkey on Thursday, but this activity was too engaging to pass up.

Students needed to develop a blueprint and a list of materials to build a structure to conceal a turkey. Only 3 groups were successful! Poor turkeys! 🦃
