Apply for 2 classroom jobs.  You need to use complete sentences when you apply and CONVINCE me why you are the best person for the job.  Your writing is due by Tuesday 10/23/18.  I will NOT accept any late applications so I suggest you do it tonight and turn it in Monday.  Having a job is a responsibility and turning in your assignment on time shows me you are responsible.  The jobs you may apply for are:

Important reminders:

1. Tomorrow is late start; school starts at 9:30 tomorrow.
2. Field trip forms must be filled out and returned as soon as possible.
3. It is very cold outside- your child needs to have a warm coat.  We go outside in the morning, afternoon, and after lunch.
4. Math test for module 2 on Friday.  Paper study guides went home last Friday, online study guides have been posted since last week, and I posted an additional online practice quiz below students can take at home.

Happy Friday:

Today your child is bringing home the permission slip for our first class field trip.  It costs $0.  Please fill out the permission slip and send it back with your child on Monday.  If you have filled out the ICHAT form in the office and would like to be a chaperone please write this on the top of your child’s permission slip.  We are in need of chaperones and would love for you to come.

Homework:

1. Our module 2 math test will be next Friday.  Please complete the online math study guide I posted on yesterday’s blog post AND have your child complete the exit ticket packet your child brought home today.  This does not have to come back to school.  It is for your child to practice and study.
2. Complete your weekly spelling activity.
3. Bring back the completed field trip permission slip.

2. Practice for your spelling test tomorrow.
3. Read from your book bag for at least 15 minutes.

1. Math worksheet- use rules and paperclips.  I sent home a ruler on Monday and paperclips came home today.
