A big thank you to all the parent chaperones who went on the zoo field trip today. We had a wonderful time and it would not have been possible without you 🙂 If you took any pictures on the field trip today please email them to me at patterj@dearbornschools.org and I will add them to the blog.
Homework:
- Tell your mom and dad about the zoo trip 🙂
- Complete a weekly spelling activity. All 4 are due tomorrow.
We have some important dates coming up:
- Tomorrow is picture day. We are taking pictures first thing tomorrow morning so make sure you are on time. Please send in the order form and money if you have not done so already.
- Monday 10/29 is our Parent Math Meeting. It is at 2:45 in our classroom Room 107. Please make sure to attend. We will be going over the new math curriculum the district is using and I will be sharing math games you can play at home. I will also be showing you how to access Zearn and Edulastic on the computer so your child can practice at home.
- Next Wednesday 10/31 is Trunk-or-Treat at Oakman. It costs $3.00 to participate. This allows your child to wear their costume to school, they get a pumpkin from our school pumpkin patch, and can collect candy at Trunk-or-Treat 🙂
- The PTA is collecting candy donations. If you would like to donate a bag of candy for trunk-or-treat please drop it off in the office
