Hello everyone and happy Tuesday:
NWEA begins for our class next Wednesday 5/16/18. The next few days are incredibly busy and exciting but it’s important for students to still be practicing their skills. Moby Max is an excellent resource for students to practice the skills that will be tested for NWEA Reading and Math.
For NWEA Math Practice- I have sent your child story problem practice activities under NWEA Math. Make sure you click on the math button and not fact fluency.
For NWEA Reading Practice- The most helpful practice options under Moby Max are:
- Foundational Skills
- Reading Skills- Literature
- Reading Skills- Informational
- Language
These four categories cover different concepts which will all be on your NWEA test. Please make sure your child is practicing these concepts before NWEA next week.
Homework tonight:
- Practice your flash cards in your math bag
- Read for 20 minutes (Or do Reading Skills Literature/Reading Skills Informational on moby max)
- Do a weekly spelling activity
