Happy Thursday:

Today we have our first parent teacher conference.  Thank you to all of the families who were able to attend.  We also have parent teacher conferences on Wednesday and Thursday next week.  I will send out a reminder note on Monday with your date and time.  If you are unable to make it please contact me so we can reschedule.  You may email me or call the school.

Homework tonight:

1. Social studies assignments due tomorrow: 1st graders have their past, present, and future assignment they got yesterday.  2nd graders have the map worksheet they got today.  Make sure that you read the directions carefully.
2. Spelling Test tomorrow. Study!

I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend.  Reminder that there is no school on Tuesday 11/7/17.

Homework this weekend:

1. Read for 20 minutes every day. We just restarted the Myon minutes count for this month.  Remember that the winners last month read almost 15 hours on Myon.  That means they were averaging 30 minutes of reading every day.  That is exceptional!  Keep up the hard work 🙂
2. Do your weekly spelling activities.  Remember all 4 activities are due on Thursday.
