Introduction
Dear Parents,
My name is Fatima Joumaa and I am the English Language Development Specialist at Haigh Elementary. I am honored to have the opportunity to work within the very same community I group up in. I attended Dearborn Public Schools, and am thrilled to give back to the district. As a Resource Specialists, my responsibilities include co-teaching, goal setting as well as, reading and writing strategic instruction in a small/whole group setting. My goal is to identify areas of improvement, and develop strategic plans, utilizing the Common Core State Standards and our building best practices to execute them. It is my pleasure and privilege to be a member of such an amazing staff. Thank you in advance for allowing me to be a part of your child’s education. Together we can make a difference!
