Hello Bryant Eagles,

During this time of sequester, we teachers are committed to the ongoing education of our students.

That being said, today’s vocabulary word is Atrophy. Atrophy is a gradual decline in effectiveness or vigor due to underuse or neglect.

We don’t want our minds or bodies to atrophy.

Sir Issac Newton’s 1st law says that an object in motion remains in motion.

So we must continue to exercise our bodies in order to remain healthy.

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. Therefore, I will continue to provide material to stimulate and challenge our students.

COMING SOON!- Investigation #4 Why does hazardous child labor continue to exist in Nepal?

Meanwhile, enjoy your Easter or spring break and stay healthy.

Warm regards,

Ms. Jones
