Week of September 14-18

Reminders:
Open House this Thursday! Meet in the gym at 5:30 to meet with Mrs. Jakubus. Immediately following, please walk down to room #5 for a short meeting to discuss camp, expectations, planners, etc. The book fair will be open from 6-7:30.

Week of March 30-April 2

NO school this Friday, April 3.
There is NO reading packet or spelling this week.
We are in search of some materials for our 3D models of the body systems. It is not required, but if you have any of the following lying around, we would appreciate it: gallon jugs, red yarn, blue yarn, clay, clear 2-liter bottles, regular balloons, long, skinny balloons, tri-fold boards, poster board-DO NOT buy any of the items.

On Fridays in math class, the students are working on finding a recipe with at least 4 fractions in the ingredients. Then, they double the recipe, halve the recipe, and multiply to make enough for the class. (We have 19 students and 1 teacher=20). Some students want to make their dish and share with the class on Thursday. This is NOT required…only if students want to.
