Tomorrow, January 22!!!!!

Hello Parents!

I have acquired several pairs of cross-country skis, poles, and shoes of all different sizes. I would like to take small groups of students skiing around the Long grounds tomorrow, January 22. Please try to send your child with snow pants, gloves/mittens, hat/hood, and boots. This “field trip” requires no cost or transportation, but please sign with your permission. I know this is last minute, but with the end of the marking period and the large amounts of snowfall, I feel that it is perfect timing!

Please sign the permission slip and return tomorrow!

If your child was absent today,  please sign a note with your permission.

P.S. snow pants are not required, just suggested-if you’d like, bring a spare pair of pants, in case they get wet.

Thank you!!!

Important Information!!!!

I would just like to give you a “heads up” on some important school matters. First of all, one third of my class did NOT have their reading packet or word work done today-major disappointment. Also, we had a science test today and some of the scores were not “up to par.” Students will be given an opportunity to retake this test in a different format and average the grades on TUESDAY. In social studies there will be a TEST on WEDNESDAY. Please review the study guide over the weekend. Lastly, there will be a math TEST on WEDNESDAY. Students brought their Unit 6 Pretest home to practice and review. The post test is very similar with different numbers. STUDY,STUDY,STUDY!!!!! You can do this!!!!!

Reminders: There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, half day on Thursday, and NO SCHOOL on Friday.
