Hi Ms. Jameison, I forgot to ask, how long does the annotated bib have to be? I was looking over the example you have in the powerpoint & its 3 paragraphs long, but I’m not even half way through my book yet.
Thanks
The example in the powerpoint shows all three styles of annotated bib. You are only required to write the summary style. You should summarize the portion of your book that you have already read. There is no length requirement because everyone is in different parts of their book. I hope this clears things up.

Hi Ms. Jamieson. I just started writing my intro but I’m kind of confused on the claim you want us to take and how you want us to relate that to our topic. So like at first do we state whether or not we think intolerance and prejudice affect the world, then introduce our topic?
Sarah,
Your claim should state why/how your topic contributed (or helped to end) intolerance and racism. Please remember this is a rough draft, if you don’t get it right, that’s ok. That’s why we are editing in class tomorrow, so that by the time your final draft is due you will have the correct requirements. Please do your best to finish the assignment for tomorrow as you understand it and then follow the directions that I give tomorrow.

Good evening Ms.J,
I have few questions regarding the annotated bibliography. Do you want each annotation on a seperate paper? Are we supposed to have a header on the annotated bibliography (last name, page #). Also do we need to an annotated bibliography for images too?
Thank you,
Zeinab
Good Morning Zeinab,
The annotated bib should include all entries on one paper. Every assignment should have the proper MLA heading. Images should be cited, which means they will need to be included on your works cited page and your annotated bib.
Goodmorning Ms.J,
Since we are supposed to write the annotated bib following mla rules, that means it also needs to be double spaced, which causes the annotated bib to be longer than one page. Is that fine?
Sincerely,
Zeinab.
Hi Julie,
The Assignments tab has a typo….loved the look of you blog!
Tina
Ha Ha! Thanks Tina, I fixed it…shockingly, none of my tenth grade honors student caught it! I hope you’re having a great year 🙂
I cant find it
Hey Ms. Jamieson
I have a quick question concerning Today’s homework, do we need to type the bibliography?
Rama,
No, you do not need to type the homework.
