Books to Buy is a page for you to request the purchase of certain titles for the classroom. I can not promise that I will be able to honor all of your requests, but I will do my best.
Check This Out is a page for you to do an “e book talk”. When you finish a book, if you loved it, recommend it, can’t stop talking about it, please post the title and author and a BRIEF description (do not give away any important plot points) for your classmates.

Attention students who are interested in attending U of M (although, I don’t know why anyone would be interested in going there.)
A student group, from the University of Michigan has contacted us (through Zeinab Sarieni) in regards to an opportunity for up to 50 sophomores who are interested in the U of M Ann Arbor. On either Apr. 3rd or 4th (depending on transportation), they will be taking them on a campus tour, including lunch and presentations on the ACT, programs, financial aid and more. The students will be transported by bus from Fordson to Ann Arbor and would be there approximately from 9am-1pm.
This will be on a first come, first serve basis, so I am asking you to announce it to your Honors LA 4 students and have them sign up in the counseling office, by March 27th.

Sorry guys, it’s been a crazy day. Don’t worry about the AoW, I’ll have it ready for you in class tomorrow. Just make sure you have read the chapters assigned for tonight (6-7). See you in the morning.
Mockingbird Reading Schedule
You are not responsible for tonight’s reading. You will be working on ch 4-5 in class tomorrow (no quiz, since I won’t be there) . We will catch up and get back on track over the weekend. You’re welcome.
Rewrites
Due to the snow day, rewrites will now be due on Monday, March 17.
I will be out of the building for a meeting tomorrow, so those of you that signed up for conferences today must attend on Friday.
Because everything has been pushed back, the rewrites will not be graded in time to be on this report card. It’s the payoff for this lovely snow day…the universe is cruel some times.
