Mrs. Jaber's Biology

Dear parents and students,

During our month long isolation from school, biology students will be expected to complete a unit on genetics through iLearn’s Biology Assessments that will be graded. The biology teachers will use only one Blog to communicate so that all biology students are getting the same information: https://iblog.dearbornschools.org/powellj/ (CFA passwords will be posted here) . There is a quiz that is required to be completed in the next day [Into to online learning BIO]

The only items required to do and check is iLearn’s Biology Assessments. It is organized by week and so far is accessible by phone (I tested the DNA CFA and weird black boxes showed up that said there was no content, but there are not any pictures missing so it is not an issue yet!). Students can self pace and complete the assignments each week. Please login as soon as possible and complete the Intro to online learning BIO assignment so that I know you have access. iLearn website is attached.

I will also be posting on Google Classroom with updates [CODE: pmbwpg2 ]. The administration will be notified for students that do not complete online tasks– I will be making calls in a week to your parents if assignments and quizzes are not being completed.

IN SHORT:

I really did not read this email, what do I need to do?
1. Login to iLearn and complete the learning tasks!
2. WARNING: CFAs are timed!!
3. Get CFA passwords from Mr. Powell’s iBlog [attached]
4. Admin will be notified for students that do not complete tasks and calls will be made out.
