Upcoming 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders:

The following is Summer Reading instruction guide. Please read as you will be responsible to present something in the fall. Everything is explained in the following document:

Unis Middle School

Summer Learning for ELA 2020

All Books are Linked to Text and Audio

Books and Audio Provided by: http://esl-bits.net/

Directions: Students are to read 2 books (highly recommended to choose off this list) for their summer reading.  In August, their ELA teacher will give them guidance on the reports that they will do to complete the summer reading assignment.

*We do not censor our selections or decide what is age/grade appropriate for each student, so please check in with your child about what they’re reading. YA (Young Adult) literature is written for a wide variety of maturity levels, so students and families should talk about these books and decide whether the language/content is a good fit.
