Please note, spelling test will be on Monday, September 28th, when we come back from our break.  Please be sure that you child is studying the spelling words…some ways to practice:  write each word 5x; step spelling; write them on index cards and spell them orally to a family member…

Our Parent Meeting will be this Friday, September 19 at 9 am.  I will send home a note tomorrow.

We have started switching for writing, social studies, and science; please be sure to bring in all supplies to make this an easy transition–we especially need the binder.

Class News

Today was very exciting!  Thank you to all the parents that came in today.  I know we are going to have a successful year.  Please bring in your child’s supplies as soon as possible, this way we can label and get things ready quickly.

Please look over the papers that were sent home in the green folder; there are things that need to be signed and returned back to school.

I forgot to add zip lock bags to the school supply list.  If you can, I would appreciate any sizes.  We use these throughout the year for sorting and such.

Welcome back to school!! I’m so excited to start the year at a new school, with new faces, and new adventures. I’m looking forward to meeting you. I know we are going to have a fantastic year. There is so much to learn in 4th grade, and together, we will make it a success.

Looking forward to meeting and talking to you all in person at our initial parent meeting. I will go over Geer Park expectations along with our classroom expectations. In the meantime, I will send home a parent contract and a letter from Mrs. Srour for you to read over and sign; please sign and send back to school by the end of this week.
