Homework is posted…there isn’t too much tonight as I want them to study for the math test tomorrow. We went over the study guide, in depth, seemed like everyone had an easy time with it. Please study with your child. Continue to study math facts. Our Mathathon is on November 17th!
Don’t forget, Friday is a half day! Dismissal is at 11:45…

School will be closed tomorrow due to Election Day! Our field trip to the DSO will be on Thursday from 10-12. There is a half day on Friday.

The Halloween parade is tomorrow!! We are all very excited! Please check your child’s costume to make sure he or she does not bring a mask or a toy weapon. If you want to donate candy, you still have time, PTA is still collecting until tomorrow morning! Our annual pumpkin patch is tomorrow as well. Please be sure to that your child dresses warm, we will be outside for a long period of time.

Homework is posted! Spelling words are also posted…I’ve added an online learning log–on the back of the reading log. Basically what this is, is a way to keep track of the online learning done at home. I require at least 1 hour a week–please have your child log the minutes, site, a quick description of what was practiced…

Homework is posted…I have included your child’s NWEA RIT score, please keep this in a safe place. Your child will need this to take the NWEA practice–we went over this in class today, so they all should know what to do. I have attached a note in case he or she forgot what to do…

Hello! Homework is posted, please note that I have given your child a new reading log form. This one is a little more detailed and requires them to write a brief summary of what they learned/read. Please take your time looking it over and ask your child about the book.
Also, MANY planners are not being signed. PLEASE sign your child’s planner. I will begin making calls home if it is not signed.

I also wanted to congratulate all the runners who ran in the Cipriano Race! It was so nice cheering them on!! Many of our Geer Park students were there to show their pride! You should be very proud of your child!
The Pumpkin Raffle starts tomorrow! Tickets are $0.25 each, your child may buy as many as they wish!
