You would be so proud of your child. Everyone continues to give it their all and hasn’t given up on all this testing! We are almost done!! We will be taking the science portion tomorrow. Again, please be sure your child goes to bed early, eats a good breakfast, and brings a healthy snack to school.
Please look out for a blue note sent home with your child today. It is an invitation to a PTA Luncheon hosted by us for YOU!! We are so grateful for all the time and efforts you put in at home with your child, that really helps us and makes our job easier! We can’t thank you enough for all the time you put in at school to help in the classroom or on field trips. These little things may not seem like a big deal to you, but they are and we are so appreciative! This is just a small token of our gratitude! Please RSVP so we can get a count of how many people we will need to accommodate.

Tomorrow will be our math day 2 on the M-STEP…please be sure your child goes to bed early, eats a good breakfast, and brings a snack to school. After math, we have science to complete and we will be done! Everyone is working really hard!
Only homework is to read, practice division/multiplication facts, and study spelling words…

Homework is posted in addition to some pictures of the fun things we’ve been up to these last few weeks.
Kids are exhausted, I totally understand, however some students are taking it to the next level. Please talk with your child and remind them that school is in session until June 16. Many students have been extremely disrespectful and not acting like Geer Park Stars. It is disappointing to see that all their hard work throughout the year is being forgotten about because of the bad choices they are making these last few weeks. We need to maintain respect and dignity, two things that most of our 4th graders have forgotten. I’m hoping Monday will bring on a brighter, happier week.

Homework is posted, it’s not much. The kids have been working so hard during the day that they need a break in the evening. Please make sure they are reading, practicing math facts, and studying their spelling words–tomorrow is our spelling test.
Week 1 of M-Step is behind us!! Tomorrow will only be make-up for anyone who is not completed with a test or who was absent this week. We will continue with math and science part 2 next week.

Day 2 of M-STEP is completed. Students are working very hard, continue encouraging and motivating them at home, it is truly making a difference! We are starting science tomorrow. Again, please make sure your child goes to bed at a reasonable hour and has breakfast in the morning.

M-STEP is well underway and I can not express how important it is that your child goes to bed early and eats a good breakfast. They are all working so hard and I’m very proud of each and every one of them! Please stress the importance of going slow and taking their time.
Thank you for your constant support!! We are continuing with ELA tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is late start, so we will start testing promptly at 10am. Please send your child to school on time.
