Open house is from 4:30-6 TONIGHT! Please come to see us!
The homework that was given is just little things that were not completed in class so that your child has time to come with you to open house!!

Welcome Back!!
Hello!! Welcome back to another fantastic year! I’m so excited I get to be your child’s teacher this year!! 5th grade is very exciting with many new things to learn! We will have two student teachers, Miss Resmer and Miss Van Every! They are very enthusiastic and will be a great addition to our family!
Most of you have signed and returned both the parent letter/compact and emergency forms. If you have not done so yet, please do. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me and I will call you back as soon as I can.
We have started the NWEA test this week. I plan on testing this week and next, and then start the DRA reading test. You will not see much home this first month of school, but I do expect the planner to still be signed.
I have posted spelling words under the Spelling tab. I also posted important dates under the Events tab. Please check that out periodically as I will add dates as things come up. I plan on having a parent meeting in the near future, so please look out for that date!

Tomorrow is field day!! Please be sure your child dresses appropriately. We will be eating lunch at 11 am since our activities start at 12. PTA will sell a variety of snacks for students to purchase.

Today was our math competition against Salina and William Ford…our students did amazing!!!! You should all be proud!! Our class made it to the finals!!
