HAPPY FRIDAY!!  Our field was a huge success!!!  The students felt what the struggles that the slaves went through.  This experience brought a few children to tears, it was amazing to see the empathy that our students felt for those who walked before us years ago.  Please ask your child about our field trip, you will be amazed at their responses.  I will post pictures soon!

Homework is posted…Reflections is mandatory, not sure if it was last year, but I think it’s a great way for students to shine creatively.  To help students with their project, the media center will be open next Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:30.  Students will be provided with materials to help them.  A parent volunteer will be there to help the students with what they need.  This year’s theme is “Let your imagination fly”.  If you are new to our school, or need a reminder of what this is, please feel free to ask.
