Here is an outline of today’s assignments (Friday, May 1st):

● SPELLING:  Have a family member give you a Spelling Test!  How many ‘-ed’ words can you spell?  (bed, fed, led, red, Ted, wed, etc.)

● READING:  Listen to the story, “Piggie Pie,” https://youtu.be/hZZ2xiWr_DQ.  Discuss – Would you recommend this book to others?  Why or why not? (Opinion)

⭐️ Practice reading bag books + sight words (red, yellow, find, where) 📖

● WRITING (Opinion – paper books):  Reread your paper book writing (make sure all the pictures match your words!).  Have mom or dad take a video of you reading your book.  Send me your video to share with friends on Class Dojo!

● MATH (Extension Day):  Play the math game, “How Many More to Make 10?”

Materials Needed: Make your own number cards, 0-10, or use 1 die.  If you cannot find a 10-frame in your math book, draw your own.  Or, use this virtual 10-frame: https://toytheater.com/two-color-counter-ten-frame/

● SCIENCE:  Finish writing about your habitat. Share on Portfolio! We would love to see it.

● SOCIAL STUDIES:  Watch the video, “Town,” https://youtu.be/EfD2k9beP-4.  Draw a map of things that are in your town.  Be sure to include your home and important buildings that are close to you. Practice your address!
