Here is an outline of today’s assignments (Wednesday, April 29th):
● SPELLING: ‘-ed’ word pattern (bed, fed, led, red, Ted, wed, etc.) / write words in different colors using crayons or markers. Short Vowel ‘e’ video,
● READING: Listen to the story, “Piggie Pie,” https://youtu.be/hZZ2xiWr_DQ. Discuss – Can you picture in your mind four things that Gritch did? (Visualize)
⭐️ Practice reading bag books + sight words (red, yellow, find, where) 📖
● WRITING (Opinion – paper books): Reread pg. 1-2 of your paper book. On pg. 3, write one more reason WHY pie OR cake is the best treat (you should have 2 reasons total!). Draw a picture to match your reason. Idea: Think of special memories that might remind you of this treat (birthday, thanksgiving, etc.).
● MATH: Lesson 39. Watch the video, https://youtu.be/Kg0ozwekh14. Complete the Problem Set (p. 169, 171-172) and Homework (p. 155, 157).
● SCIENCE: Work on your habitat!
● SOCIAL STUDIES: Watch the YouTube video then take a walk around the block. Map out your favorite route you and your family walk or ride a bike on when it is nice out. Maybe even your walk to school? Don’t forget to practice your address today!
