Welcome class of 2032!
I am so happy to get this year started and get to know all of your children. We become a little family unit in our classroom for 9 months. Any concerns or problems you or your child have, please never hesitate to contact me. All of the Kindergarten classes have three times more boys than girls, so we will have to do a lot of movement activities this year! Please check your child’s blue folder every night for important notes or homework.
Remember there is NO SCHOOL today, Friday, August 3oth or Monday, September 2nd to celebrate the Labor Day weekend. Tuesday, September 3rd your child will report to school as normal at 8:35 am. Please if they are on a bus, remind them who their teacher is so they can say their teachers name as they get off the bus. I recommend putting a piece of tape or a sticker or pin their teachers name on their shirt the first couple of days.
Please this weekend if you could get 2 supplies for our classroom I would be much appreciated:
- plastic pencil case
- reusable water bottler
Please write their name on both with a permanent marker.
A healthy snack should be sent to school every day. Please put your child’s snack in a plastic gallon size bag they can reuse with their name on it. Only send their lunch in a lunch box. The children get confused on what a snack and lunch are otherwise.
I know next week is going to be hot, but remember NO open toed sandals or spaghetti strapped tank tops at school.
I can’t wait for your child’s shining face to show up each day!
