Bellwork: “What is one interesting fact you remember about the human population?”
“ What is one Question you have about the history of the human population?”
Today’s Task: GQ: How and why has the human population grown over the past 12,000 years
- Read pages 228 and 229 of Environmental Science textbook and take detailed notes on page 26 of your notebook that address the guiding question.
- Title and write the Guiding Question at the top of page 26
- Notes MUST be paraphrased and in your own words. Fill up most of the page. Write small
- On page 25 create a list of “need to know words”
- On page 25 create a list of questions you have ( AT LEAST THREE)
- Pick one of the following choice assignments and fill up the rest of page 25. Use full page, use colors, reflect information on right and be neat and thoughtful
Choice Assignments
- Write a letter to a relative explaining to them what the INPUT on the right side means.
- Write a news article for a paper explaining the significance of the INPUT on the right side.
- Write a song or poem that summarizes the information on the INPUT side.
- Draw a multi-paneled cartoon that describes and restates the INPUT on the right side.
Write neatly and clearly.
You may not be able to finish. That is O.K. Do as much as time allows. I will be able to tell who put in effort and who did not. There should be very few if any spelling or grammar mistakes. Plagiarism = 0
