Dear Teachers,

Below is all the information you need to renew your provisional, professional, or continuing (permanent) teaching certificates.

Please review all attachments as all information needed is available in these documents.

This Certification worksheet (Thanks to Chris Sipperly. She got this from MEA, clear directions). It shows the process for all three types of renewals.

ALL MICHIGAN TEACHERS ARE REQUIRED TO ENSURE THE ACCURACY OF THEIR STATE EVALUATION DATA FOR CERTIFICATE PROGRESSION AND RENEWAL.

Please click on the link below to see the new release from the Michigan Department of Education. If you notice any errors in your evaluation, please email me at alamadn@dearbornschools.org, and I will confirm and correct your reporting between September and December which is the open window.

Grant Associates, Inc. is urgently looking for a substitute GED instructor to fill the position immediately.  The substitute would be considered for the full time assignment if he/she is interested. The GED instructor needs Michigan Secondary certification, be dynamic, and have the desire to work with adult populations.
