Updates! PLEASE READ

Howard Families!

I hope that you are well and that your family is safe and healthy. It’s been a while since I last posted, and I wanted to inform you of Kids Club updates. Also, check-in as I miss you guys and can’t wait to see each of you in-person. Hopefully soon! As many know, the Board of Education approved a Back to School plan in October regarding COVID-19 and the matrixes to in-person instruction. As a community, we have reached one out of the two measures, and we are close to reaching the second measure of the percentage rate being less than 5%. I checked the report sent out Tuesday morning, and we are at a 6.2% positivity rate. We are heading in the right direction, and I’m hopeful that we will have some form of normalcy, as this has been a challenging year for all of us.

With this being said, we WILL have Kids Club during Hybrid Learning, and there ARE changes to registration that I wanted to share with you. You should have received an email from Ms. Stover regarding all the new information related to the registration process. We have partnered with ELEYO to make the registration process easier for YOU; click here for more details. Later this week, I will post a short video explaining how to get to the site and what it looks like for those that benefit from that, as I received a lot of positive feedback from the other video that I made back in the spring. It can be confusing at first, and I want to ensure that you have all the information needed. Please note that if you have registered for Kids Club for the 2020-21 school year with our traditional paper forms, you WILL need to re-register as that registration is NOT valid. As always, if you have ANY questions, please email me or comment on this post, and I would be happy to help and answer any questions that you may have! 🙂 Be on the lookout for the video this week, and I hope to hear from some of you!

Stay Safe and Healthy,

Miss. Marisa
