H.W. SAT 7 terms and finish up any part of the project that was your individual responsibility
I want to thank students for an insightful discussion today about reading and how societies are impacted by reading or lack of ! I am really enjoying how we have progressed with our analysis of situations and passages and how our discussions are gaining depth.
Rubric for the project was shared with students.
SAT 7 wk. sheet was checked in and we covered the Academic terms as they relate to “Dirk the Protector”.
Groups met to touch base and finish up the work for the project. All responsibilities/sheets should be completed tonight so students can put their posters together. Note: the biggest issue thus far has been explaining relevance of textual evidence in first person (Do not use I; rather, say “This passage best illustrate…”). Make sure your writing is legible as that seems to be a big challenge from some students.
Tomorrow, time will be provided to get the poster ready BUT YOU MUST HAVE THE WORK DONE WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR.
