Started our Station Work for “A Christmas Carol” which requires students to rotate from one station to another and focus on different elements of the novel. Whatever was not completed in class, from the 4 stations we visited, must be done for homework. Tomorrow, we will visit the last 3 stations and do a quick review over for the assessment. Note that by Wednesday, you will have 7 worksheets completed to submit at the beginning of the hour. Take note of each concept as they relate to what you will be assessed on, but the assessment is not limited to just those concepts.
FYI: Assessment over “A Christmas Carol” is on Wednesday. You need to know the elements of Drama, the setting of the story, the societal issues taking place during the time period, why Dickens wrote the play, the characters, the themes, symbols, allusion, the events and their meaning for Scrooge, the development of the main character and what he sees and learns from each spirit , etc. The assessment will be made up of 25+ questions on ilearn.
