Welcome back to school and a happy new year for all. I hope you all enjoyed your time with your families.
We have spent the passed few days focusing again on the process of writing and on the concept of static/dynamic characters. Today, tomorrow, and Friday, students will be going through the process of writing on their own in class. They are allowed to only work on the brainstorming, graphic organizer, and drafting in class and not at home. I need to know what they are each capable of accomplishing at this point, after several cycles of lessons on writing, on their own.

Note that binder and notebook check will happen this week and next week. Students should be ready for this check as I will randomly call up students. Students may check the post from Dec 2019 that has the topics for SSR and bell work.
