  • Content Objective: Students will identify and explain key events in how the war developed on the Western and Eastern Fronts in regards to the Central Powers and the Allies, the Von Schlieffen Plan and trench warfare.
  • Language Objective: Students will demonstrate understanding of the key events of the beginning of WWI by writing a tree map of key facts, people and details. Students will share their maps with the class during tomorrow’s discussion.
