- Content Objective: Students will demonstrate analysis of the Equiano reading by identifying evidence of claim. Students will demonstrate analysis of the growth of absolutism in Europe as well as in Spain under Philip II and contrast Spain’s development to the Netherlands.
- Language Objective: Students will reread the Equiano passage to identify and underline evidence of claim. Students will fill in box #2 on their 4 square after class discussion. Students will write note for important facts and details from the development of Spain under Philip II and the Netherlands.
