Polynomials in October

Students are in Unit 4 of Agile Mind. They are currently working on identifying polynomials and discovering what occurs when we perform arithmetic operations on the polynomials.
Students should be able to answer the following questions:
- What type of polynomial is presented?
- What degree is the polynomial and how does this affect the shape of the graph?
- What is the constant in the polynomial?
- What is the leading coefficient and how does this affect the graph?
- What do we look for when adding polynomials?
- What must we be careful of when subtracting polynomials?
- What arithmetic property do we utilize when we multiply polynomials?
