We continue our reading focus on informational reading. This week, we’re reading an informational article about our skeleton. Using an image is the main skill.
We’ll begin our animal reports this week by choosing an animal from books I’ve pre selected from our library and book room. We’ll be reading for specific information and recording the facts on our organizer.
Math continues with our section about creating equal groups. This is under Operations and Algebraic Thinking. We’re using the language “groups of” meaning how many groups of ……… are there?
In social studies, we’ll learn the vocabulary “artifacts” to talk about how do people learn about life in the past? From pictures, journals/diaries, talking to people, artifacts.
Science continues with our life science until. We’ll be continuing our discussion of what makes something living compared to non living?
