I hope everyone had a restful weekend. This is a busy week. Wednesday is a late start. Friday is picture day and our classroom bake sale. You can send in your picture day envelopes anytime and I will hold them until Friday.

This week:

Math: We are finishing the metric conversion module this week.

Writing: We still working on our opinion writing for Halloween. We will be finishing our drafts this week and starting the revising and editing process.

Social Studies- We are still working on regions. We are working on our flap books.

Science- We are working on how energy can move. We will be looking at waves.

Daily 5- We are focusing on using text features in informational text. We will use these to locate information for specific tasks, asking and answering questions and for skimming texts for a purpose.
