I can’t believe how quickly September flew by! A Dojo message was sent this morning and a 1/2 sheet of paper will come home today regarding our class basket for Fall Fest. The October Nowlin Newsletter will also be coming home.

This week:

Math- We are working on adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers up to the millions with repeated borrowing or carrying.

Writing- We are working on publishing our writing about being 100 years old.

Daily 5- Book clubs continue with each group having an individual strategy and as a class, we are working on main idea and creating mental images.

Social Studies- We are starting a regions flap book this week and will add the mid-west to our region studies.

Science- We are continuing our learning about energy. We have learned about stored energy and we will be moving onto studying how it is transferred from stored energy into kinetic energy.
