Tomorrow is the Nowlin Skating party. Tickets are being presold after school or they can be purchased at the door. Many students have been missing reading group and math homework. Please double check that they have completed it if possible. STEAM Club starts today in room 30 after school for the 4th and 5th graders. 3rd graders will start today in the art room. This Wednesday is also a late start.

This week:

Math-We are working on multistep application problems involving multi-digit subtraction.

Reading- Each reading group has their own strategy they are working on. During whole group instruction, we are focusing on locating the main idea and providing three supporting details in the form of a constructed response.

Writing- We are working on verb/subject agreements and expanding sentences using verbs and adjectives.

Science- We are continuing to look at energy and we will be moving into waves.

Social studies: We are continuing to work on the regions of the United States. Currently, we are locating specific land form types in different regions.
