I hope everyone had a great weekend. This week we are running MSTEP make-up tests for anyone who has not finished. The rest of us are having a regular week. Next week we will begin the NWEA test. We are taking science, language, math, and reading. We will be completing these over the course of two weeks. This week is our buy one get one free book fair. We will be previewing the sale today and then shopping will be open after school. We also have our last book fair of the year on Thursday from 6-7. The book fair will be open during book bingo as well so be sure to come up!

Math: We are continuing our work with fractions and will be finishing Module 5 by the end of the week.

Science: We are taking a journey on our systems of the body unit in 3D this week. We will be using 3D glasses to take a look at each system.

Social Studies: We are finishing the Shark Tank presentations this week and we will be moving into the history of our economy.

Writing: We are working on friendly letters and are completing a letter of advice to next year’s 4th graders.

Daily 5: We are working on key vocabulary while reading and using all parts of a book to determine unknown meaning.
