Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a restful weekend. Tonight is Nowlin’s Sciencepalooza from 6:00-8:00. There will be stations set up for you and your student to visit at your own pace. Concessions will be for sale by the PTA. It will be a fun evening and I hope everyone can make it at some point, even if only for a little while.

This week:

Daily 5- We are finishing our DRA reading level testing this week. We are also working on locating specific information in informational text using text features like text bubbles, headings, and illustrations. The students have new reading groups and will continue to have reading each night.

Students have a half day on Thursday and we will have a small Valentine’s celebration. If you wish to send something in, we have 21 students. There is no school on Friday or Monday.

Have a great week!
