Good morning! Friday is Field Day at Nowlin so watch for any announcements that might come out. Our class picnic is next week and we still have a few spots available. The list for the picnic is posted on Dojo.

Spelling: This week we are looking at the /ure/ spelling pattern. This will be our last list for the year. Like last week there will be no worksheet. We will be taking our spelling test in cursive so the boys should continue practicing the words at home in cursive.  Our words are sure, figure, injure, mixture, future, nature, fixture, picture, measure, ruler, metric, standard, meter, and kilometer.

Math- We are still working on measurement. We will have a study guide on Wed. or Thursday and the test either after field day or on Monday.

Social Studies-The study guide is coming home today and the test will be Wednesday.

Science- The students should still be working on their cloud observation books and need to bring these Friday. Our unit test will be early next week. A study guide will come home first.

Reading- We are continuing with our reading groups this week. The boys should continue on their book club work for this week. All library books were already due back and should be returned ASAP. All student book bags are due back by Friday as well.

Writing-We are working on our end of the year writing booklet.
