Hello everyone,

I hope everyone enjoyed the three day weekend. We are starting our official NWEA testing on Thursday. We will be taking math, reading, science and language over the next two weeks. Wednesday the 18th is a late start. All field trip money is due by Friday. If you signed up to be a chaperone, we were able to accommodate you so please send in your money by Friday as well.

This week:

Spelling: We are looking at 3 consonant blends. Our words are shrank, scream, thread, throat, sprain, president, government, state, equality, and vote.

Math: Students are being introduced to fractions. They will be reading, creating and comparing fractions.

Science: We are still working on sound. All of the instrument projects are due Thursday.

Social Studies: We are learning about Michigan’s government and what it means to be a democracy.

Reading: We are continuing with our book clubs and we will be finishing up learning about different what the different point of views are.
