US History with Mr. Harrison

After discussing the day in history, we finished going over the Ch. 15 sec. 3-5 Questions. We also watched a video that reviewed the economic aspects related to the Great Depression. *The 1930s Test is planned for Thursday.*

After discussing the day in history, the Ch. 15 sec. 3-5 Questions were discussed. Students also completed handouts over the legacy of Social Security, and Eleanor Roosevelt. We also heard examples of songs from the Great Depression.

After discussing the day in history, we finished discussing Ch. 15 sec. 1-2, including the Court Packing Plan and Huey Long.

After discussing the day in history, we began to go over the Ch. 15 sec. 1-2 Answers. We then watched a video over the Great Depression during FDR’s administration.

After discussing the day in history, the Ch. 15 sec. 1-2 Questions were checked. We next watched a Crash Course on the Great Depression, then students completed a handout on FDR’s first “Fireside Chat”.

After discussing the day in history, we finished going over the Ch. 14 sec. 2-3 Answers. Students then completed questions over document on Ch. 14 sec. 2-3. They were also given time to work on the Ch. 15 sec. 1-2 Textbook Questions– due tomorrow.

After discussing the day in history, we went over the Ch. 14 sec. 1 textbook answers. Students then used the remaining class time to work on questions over documents on the Dust Bowl.

We discussed the Great Depression Overview from last week, and then watched an example of a ‘bank run’ fro It’s A Wonderful Life.

After discussing the day in history, we discussed the Business Cycle handout from last week, and then watched a video on the 1929 stock market crash and the beginning of the Great Depression.

After discussing the day in history, students took the 1920s Test. Afterward, they worked on questions over an article on the Great Depression.
