Weekly Objectives for September 11th- 15th

Objectives:

Reading Literature: 4.1 – Refer to details and examples in a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences from the text.

Writing: W.4.3 Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences.  Orient the reader by establishing a situation and introducing a narrator and/or characters; organize an event sequence that unfolds naturally.

Math:   Draw And Identify Lines And Angles, And Classify Shapes By Properties Of Their Lines And Angles.  4.G.1 Draw points, lines, line segments, rays, angles (right, acute, obtuse), and perpendicular and parallel lines. Identify these in two-dimensional figures.

Social studies:

Use cardinal and intermediate directions to describe the relative location of significant places in the United States.

Science:

4-PS3-2 Make observations to provide evidence that energy can be transferred from place to place by sound, light, heat, and electricity.4-PS3-3 Ask questions and predict outcomes about the changes in energy.
