I would like to thank all the parents who contributed money and water bottles for Flint last week. Your generosity and kindness is greatly appreciated at McUnis! The students have finally finished their NWEA assessments. Last week students completed their NWEA math assessment and the growth they have made is tremendous. You should be so proud of your little one for improving and moving ahead in first grade. I strive each day to create a nurturing learning environment for your child and without your support I would not be able to bring out the best in your child. They are all such hard workers and extremely dedicated to learning. Your child’s NWEA scores will be sent home with report cards sometime this week or next week.
We have another busy week ahead of us. Here are some topics we will be learning about this week.
