This week students will be making sense of numbers 11 through 20. Students will be showing different ways to show a number using tally marks, number bonds, pictures, and dominoes.
Winter Break Packet:
The students are making tremendous progress in first grade so far! I am so proud of every child and the improvements they have made. Hopefully this progress will continue as we move into the second half of the school year. Thank you for your dedicated time and support in your child’s educational journey.
This Thursday your child will bring home a short reading, writing, and math packet to work on during the break. Please make sure your child continues to read on raz-kids and visit education city. Students will be taking their second NWEA assessment right when we get back from break. It is crucial that your child continues to work on their reading and math skills during their time off.
Don’t forget there will be a late start this Wednesday. School begins at 9:00.
