Your child’s homework folder should be going home everyday. Within this folder all parents should have received an emergency card and lunch form that should be filled. These forms need to be returned to school TOMORROW. Thank you.
WELCOME BACK!!!
WELCOME SECOND GRADERS!!! The summer is over and it is now time for new learning and classroom fun!!! I look forward to witnessing the academic growth that will take place this year among our students. There are many factors that ensure or limit this growth.
One of the most essential factors is parent/teacher communication. Please make sure to register for this blog. Also, feel free to email me at hamidm2@dearbornschools.org. Furthermore, please ensure that your child is obtaining an adequate amount of sleep.
Your child will also have a folder that will go home EVERYDAY. This folder will include homework that MUST be completed and important notes that may need to be returned to school. Also, please make sure to send a snack with your child everyday. Only HEALTHY snacks are permissible.
I EXPECT every child to be reading EVERY night for at least 20-30 minutes. This is part of their homework and students will be held accountable through reflections which will be checked for completion. Thank you so much!!!!
