On Tuesday, October 31, we will be having a Halloween Party in the gym after lunch.  We are in need of parent volunteers to help with this party.  If you are interested, please let me know.  You are asked to arrive around 12:20, sign in at the office and then report to the gym.

Costumes-  This year we have decided to allow the lower elementary students (which includes 2nd grade) to wear costumes this day.  There are no places for the children to change so all students who would like to wear a costume, must come to school already dressed in the costume.  Please understand that they will be in it all day.  Please also understand that we are not responsible for stained or damaged costumes.  Students may not bring any weapons, masks or accessories.

Dear Parents,

When packing your children’s snack/lunch in the morning, please make sure to pack the necessary utensils that they may require. The forks, spoons, napkins and straws in the cafeteria are for those students who are purchasing a hot lunch only. We hope that you understand. On Thursdays, I will be sending home a book bag with 2 leveled books for your child to practice reading throughout the week.  Please return the bag every Thursday, and I will refill it with new books.  Thank you!

Last call for socks.  Each student needs one pair of clean socks for our science experiment this week.  Please send in a pair tomorrow.  They will be returned after the experiment.  Thanks.

Hello PTA members!  We are having a popcorn sale this Friday Oct. 13th at dismissal (1/2 day @ 11:45am).  We need parent volunteers at both front doors and back doors to help us sell!  Popcorn will be bagged for you, sold for $1.00 per bag, and you only need to stay after school until the kids are all gone (usually 30 minutes tops).  If you are able to help, please email us back or let your child’s teacher know!
