I will be sending home the reports from this past NWEA tests.  When looking at scores, notice the percentile range on the the chart to the right.  Dearborn Public Schools considers a 69th percentile score to be “at grade level”.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks.

Due to our likely shortened week, I will not be passing out Spelling today.  We will do this weeks Spelling words next Monday, February 4.  Stay Warm!!

Reading 20 min each day

Now that the snow and colder temps have arrived, please send your child with hats, gloves, boots, snow pants and a warm coat.  Students can leave  boots and pants here during the week (if you allow) and then take them home for the weekend.  That way they do not have to lug all that each and every day.  Please know that we will go out each day that it is above 20 degrees temperature and windchill.  If it is lower than that, we will be staying in.  If your child does not bring these items, he/she will not be allowed to play in the snow and will have to play on the sidewalk.  I  check the weather on my 2 apps before we go out and make the decision then.

Due to our shortened week, we will have the Spelling Test next Monday the 28th.   Please help your child prepare for this test over the weekend.  Thanks!!
