Due to the yucky weather, Mrs. Keebler is postponing the Butterfly Garden planting until this Friday, May 10th.

Thursday, May 30 we will have a district paid field trip to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor. More details and permission slip to follow.

Friday, June 7 at 1:00 we will have our annual Cultural Play.  Mrs. Jinn, Mrs. Polster, Mrs. Keebler and my class will be studying Africa this month and next.  Specifically, our class will study the eastern countries and animals of Africa.  Each student will have a part in the play and all will participate in music and dance.  A lot more information will be coming in the weeks ahead.

The color run is today at 3pm.  You are all invited to watch.  I will dismiss students after the color run from the playground and then from the back as usual.  Students must tell me they are going and fist pump me.  Please make sure they do this before you take them.  I need to know when someone is dismissed.  Thanks!!! Students Fasting

Students will need to get parental approval for fasting at school.
Howe teachers will then be able to make plans for those who are
fasting during lunch. Also, many young children have a tendency
to follow what their friends’ or older sibling are doing.

Only students that have this form completed by a parent will be
allowed to fast at school. If forms are not returned, it will be
considered that the child is not fasting.
