Africa Fundraiser

Ms. Truxall’s class is raising money to send to the African Wildlife Foundation.  Our class has been studying areas of Africa and its animals. Many of these animals are endangered due to habitat loss, climate change, farming, the pet trade and poachers.  Our class feels strongly about keeping these animals as safe as possible. Please donate any amount that you can to help these animals.  Put your donation into an envelope, write Africa Donation and your name clearly, and give it to Ms. Truxall.  She will take all the donations and add her own donation and send it off to Africa to help these animals.  If you would like more information, please visit the website at www.awf.org. Tuesday 5/28 Twin Day- Dress like you friend does.

Wednesday 5/29 Wacky Outfit or Hat Day- Wear mismatching socks or clothes.  Wear a silly hat.

Thursday 5/30 Hawaiian Beach Day and our Field Trip to Ann Arbor – Wear Hawaiian shirts, hats and shorts. We will be outside for our field trip so watch the weather and dress for the weather.

Friday- 5/31 School Spirit Day- Wear Howe shirts or colors.

It is time to collect Book Bags.  I won’t be sending anymore books this year since we are getting close to the end.  Please return Book Bags and books.  Deadline is Friday, May 31.  Thank you.

Remember to have your child complete the practice test.  Test will be Monday, the 20th.

The end of the year is fast approaching, therefore I will be skipping around in the math modules.  I am skipping module 5 and starting 6 today.  I will be sending home the new homework books called Succeed.  Any work not done this school year in class can be used as Summer work. Thanks for your understanding.
