2nd Grade Math will have a math test on Monday, December 15.  A practice test will be sent home today.  Thanks!

On Friday, December 19 in the morning our class will celebrate the Holiday Season with a movie, fun art project and treats.  If you  would like to donate some treats and drinks for that day, we would greatly appreciate it.  Treats can include cookies, chips, veggies, cheese, crackers,etc.  Please, if you donate drinks, send individual drinks.  Cups of juice spill easily on our nice carpet.  Thank You.

On Monday, December 15 at 2:30 Ms. Truxall’s class during Music class will be holding a Winter Informance filled with singing, music, instruments, and dancing.  Parents are welcome to come and enjoy your child’s performance.  Please sign in at the office and proceed to the Music Room D140.  Hope to see you there.

Due to our early lunch and music times, our shopping has been changed to THursday, December 4.   Please send money in that day instead of tomorrow.  Thanks!

Hope everyone had a restful vacation.  This week, homework will be Fact Sheets on Monday and Wednesday and Journal Writing on Tuesday and Thursday.  November Book-Its are due this week.  A new one for December will come home today.  Wednesday is our Holiday Boutique (aka Santa Shop) f rom 10-10:30.  Students can shop for gifts for the family.  Notes came home about it last week.  Our class’s lunch times have changed.  Due to circumstances out of my control, we will be eating lunch from 11:15-11:45. Thanks and have a great week.

Tomorrow is our field trip the the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum.  Children may bring money for the gift shop if you allow it.  No more than $10 please.  Chaperones will be getting a note with a schedule on it tonight.  Please read it over and bring it with you tomorrow.  When chaperones arrive at 9:15, please check in with me and then wait down in the office or lobby area by the bench.  Thanks!

The weather has turned quickly.  We are still going outside unless windchill is below 20 degrees.  Please send your child in a warm coat that zips and/or buttons, along with hats and gloves.  Thanks!
